Our People

Ruben Rivas, EHS Manager
“I am currently the EHS Manager for Automotive AGR in North America. I am responsible for the Environmental, Health and Safety function at both Regional Distribution Centers and our 100+ Service Center locations in North America. I joined the company in the early 90's as Safety Supervisor at one of our manufacturing sites. I have been given many opportunities to advance my knowledge and skills, including tuition reimbursement that allowed me to complete a graduate degree in safety and industrial hygiene and additional training in human resources. I enjoy my job, especially when I can offer support to multiple locations across the U.S. and Mexico that don't have the local resources for safety due to their small operations. The working relationships I have established since the 90's continue to develop into a network that fosters my professional growth and enhances the reputation of the NSG Group as a very safe company.”

Erin Fay-Grillett, NMI Engineer
“In May of 2012, I joined the company in Versailles, Kentucky as Group Developer (HR/Training). Since that time, I have held positions in Human Resources and Engineering, with my most recent appointment as the New Model Introduction Engineer. My responsibilities include ensuring new parts are launched on time, with good quality, and under budget. In this role, I enjoy a dynamic, fast-paced, and challenging work environment that has enabled me to grow professionally and personally. Being part of the new model development process has also allowed me to work closely with multiple departments and facilities outside of Versailles, which has broadened my knowledge of the company as a whole. While NSG has given me the opportunity to work in various capacities and advance my skill set, it's the people that truly set this company apart. I have developed many lasting personal and professional relationships over the last few years, and it's these people who inspire and motivate me to exceed my own expectations every day. At NSG, the sky really is the limit.”

Francisco Salazar, Process Engineer
“I have had the pleasure to work at the NSG Group for the better part of four years now, in two different facilities, two different states, and two different fields of expertise. The company exposes process engineers to several different disciplines which in turn helps shape employees to be well-rounded individuals who can apply themselves to several different aspects and business units. With that being said, the opportunities to be involved with different processes from raw material handling, glass processing, and to glass assembly are available. It all boils down to what you would want to pursue to further your career.

During my time with NSG , I have been able to experience Float technology working as a hot-end process engineer and am now following through with this process engineering route, working my way towards what we consider one aspect of our final product line -Windshield Assembly. Having the ability and mobility during this time to experience seeing other places, other facilities, and creating a vast network of support that I can tap into when I need to, is what makes this company a great place to work for.”

Jennifer Parrett, HR Group Leader
“I began working at NSG as a HR Generalist in June 2013 following an eight year career in recruiting, mostly university recruiting, at a public accounting and consulting firm. I joined NSG because I was passionate about getting into a HR Generalist role in a manufacturing facility where I would be exposed to a wide variety of responsibilities. I knew as soon as my on-site interview was complete that I wanted to be a part of this team whose culture and dynamics are fantastic. In January 2015 I was promoted to the HR Group Leader of the Niles facility. I work with a great group of employees who work together as one team towards a common goal while living the values of the company. I look forward to coming to work each day. Although there are challenges, overcoming these challenges as a team makes us a part of a stronger more successful facility. NSG has been a great career choice for me and I look forward to continuing to be a part of an extremely successful NSG site.”

Julie Melnyk, Marketing Manager
“I started my career with the company in 2001 at the Collingwood Ontario Canada Plant as a Team Leader for Assembly. I quickly realized my future was mine to create and Senior Management was more than eager to provide guidance, mentoring and growth. As I developed and was willing to accept responsibilities outside my comfort zone, my experiences expanded to include Manufacturing Group Leader, Supply Chain Group Leader and Group Developer for the Collingwood Plant and most recently Account Management for Chrysler, Rooflight accounts, and OE Marketing Manager out of the R&D center in Toledo Ohio . The NSG Group offers the opportunity to interact globally and I've grown professionally by travelling and meeting people from all over the world.

To summarize my career - it surpasses my expectations. I've have been and continue to be challenged. I have fostered friendships all over the world. I am proud to work at the NSG Group!”
